Terrific. Nothing has no end.
The fraternity of Rubanda solidarity is filled with a lot of joy because of the support from you, our donors and sponsors, for another big achievement – the solar energy project.
As a school and community we have been having a big challenge due to load shedding by the electric company whereby we would even have five to seven days without power. This would affect the children trying to study and do homework in the evenings as well as the work of the different administrators at school.
After almost two years of darkness and black outs from a 6-bulb solar system and national grid for electric power, our new nursery school campus finally has a new solar system installed.
With this new solar energy, life will never be the same for our young students: no more constant nightmares due to a jungle of darkness; no more fearful night visits to restrooms outside the dormitory in the dark; and no more dangerous and risky night falls. We will now have improved and aggressive night safety measures, screen learning programs for kids, and constant phone charge for better communication amongst the staff.
This solar energy system provides enough light for the whole nursery school and it is able to give us all the services we would get from this other electricity. This is the best solar project in the whole district.
Above all, our new Yamba Abaana communication office that has struggled due to lack of constant electric connectivity to keep our sponsors and their children connected is going to have drastic improvement. Everyone will enjoy the best benefits of this new installation.
It’s going to ease the editing, printing and photocopying of school exams and documents which have been some of the most time, energy and money consuming tasks because of the distance travelled and charges for services
With this new solar power right on our premises, our services are going to be incredible and will consequently raise the standards of our school, making life easier and overall performance of the school better. Yamba Abaana is pleased and appreciates Solar Energy for Africa LTD, under the Management of Mr. Bongyerwa K. Julius and the Rubanda Solidarity Projects Coordinator, Mr Orishaba Rogers and their crews for a commendable job well done.
It was funded by Yamba Abaana, USA. The Yamba Abaana Board, with deepest gratitude, wants to thank all our donors and friends who always generously sacrifice for the right causes. Your generosity gives us all an amazing opportunity to participate in a give-out to fight myriads of chronic poverty issues in a community far away from home, but with children similar to those around us but most needy and most vulnerable.
I thank you very much because the Yamba Abaana office will never stop operating because there is no electricity. The solar energy system that we now have has solved it all. We can’t thank you enough. May God richly bless you for all that you do for us.
